Distance Hike: Limestone Canyon OC Parks - Irvine Ranch Open Space
Join us for a scenic, fast-paced, challenging, distance hike in the beautiful Limestone Canyon Nature Preserve. This hike is for physically fit hikers who enjoy the challenge of multiple steep climbs and descents. This 10–12 mile hike offers sweeping views of Orange County and the Santa Ana Mountains as well as possible wildlife sightings. Depending on timing this hike may include a visit to The Sinks and/or Dripping Springs. Ages 18 and up. Registration is required. Online Registration

Bring your little wild ones to learn about nature and enjoy the outdoors. Join us for a fun-filled parent and child experience including storytelling, a guided nature walk, and arts and crafts. Trails are sandy/muddy so wear closed-toe shoes and clothing suitable for outdoors. Strollers are not recommended on the trails.
Program and crafts are tailored for preschool level (ages 2-5), however all ages that enjoy the experience are welcome to attend.

Peters Canyon Night Hike OC Parks - Peters Canyon Regional Park

Come see Peters Canyon Regional Park in the dark!
Park staff will lead a family-friendly 2.5-mile hike through the park. The event will feature a short animal presentation by the Orange County Zoo and then an exploration of the park’s natural areas.
This is an outdoor event, so dress appropriately with sturdy footwear.
It is optional to bring water and a small flashlight.
This hike is not recommended for very small children or strollers. No pets please.
