Please note that even if another State’s court did not order you to a DUI program, you must complete, at a minimum, a 3 month California DUI program in order to satisfy the DMV. For more information about DMV requirements, contact your local DMV.
OUT OF STATE DUI Program Providers: Orange County Courts must approve an individual to complete an out of State approved DUI Program. A request and approval from the Court is also required for other States’ equivalency. Some States requirements are different from the requirements in California. Refer to the Court for guidance. A defendant may find his/her own out of State provider and report enrollment and participation directly to the Orange County Court.
