All Medical/Health Resource Requests will be reviewed and addressed based on system impacts and system needs.

IF YOU ARE NOT ORDERING TEST KITS, MOVE TO THE NEXT SECTION
If you are an organization submitting a resource request for COVID Test Kits you must follow these instructions and SUBMIT ALL OF THE FOLLOWING TWO FORMS:
****Your resource request needs to be to a for an Orange County Business with an Orange County Business Address. All business names and addresses confirmed prior to filling the resource request. If you do not provide your official county business name or if you use a personal/home address or personal email, your resource request will be denied****.
The Facility/MHOAC Situation Report should be completed by healthcare organizations to report operational status during large emergencies, disasters or when there is a situation or event that may disrupt patient care.
A resource request should only be completed when the organization has exhausted all resources such as internal supply chains, sister or affiliated facilities, vendors, third party suppliers and any other entity that the facility may be able to obtain the needed resources from.
When submitting a resource request, you must also fill out a Facility/MHOAC Situation Status report.

EMERGENCY MEDICAL STAFFING FOR HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS
If you are a healthcare provider requesting assistance with emergency staffing you should follow these steps:
***NOTE - After December 31, 2020, staff provided by the agencies listed below will no longer be funded by the County. Healthcare facilities may continue to utilize these services, but should be prepared to pay for services directly to the vendor.***
STEP #1:Attempt to fill your staffing needs with internal staff or through your contracted medical staffing agency first. If you are unable to fill your needs through Step #1 go to Step #2.
STEP #2:Contact the County of Orange contracted medical staffing agencies listed below to fill your staffing needs. The County of Orange has established contracts with medical staffing agencies to fill emergency staffing needs. If your facility uses the County of Orange contracted providers, the County will invoice your facility for your staffing costs associated with these contracts. You can contact these agencies at:
STEP #3: If you are unable to fill your staffing needs through Step #2, you should contact the Orange County MHOAC Duty Officer:
3 a.Complete the Emergency Staffing Resource Request, MHOAC Facility Situation Status Report, and Supplemental Questions (based on your type of facility) and email the request to EMSDutyOfficer@ochca.com
3 b.After submitting the Emergency Staffing Resource Request, Situation Status Report, and Supplemental Questions via email; Call the MHOAC/EMS Duty Officer at 714-415-8980.
