Pet of the Week

    Pet of the Week

One-year-old Garbanzo was brought to OC Animal Care by his owners when they could no longer care for him. Garbanzo is a jolly guy who is accustomed to living with a piggy roommate. Guinea pigs make wonderful pets for busy families and are social animals who typically live in herds - so they tend to enjoy the company of other Guinea pig friends.

Despite being named after a bean, Garbanzo’s favorite snack is a carrot! This handsome boy loves to munch the day away, feasting on pellets, timothy hay, fruits, and veggies. Did you know that guinea pigs can recognize their owners and even squeak in happiness when they see them? Garbanzo is a chatty fellow who is bound to squeal with delight when you visit him at the shelter. Please call 714-935-6848 to schedule an adoption appointment to meet Garbanzo!
