The updated County of Orange Veterans Resource Directory is now available to view and print online. Community members may also request a copy by calling the Veterans Service Office at (714) 480-6555.

Orange County Community Foundation releases OC Veterans Study!
The Orange County Community Foundation released the results of the first ever localized study of veterans needs in Orange County. Please see below for copies of the articles in the Register that highlight some of the key findings in the report as well as a link to the report found on the OCCF website. The community foundation looks forward to developing a strategy that involves a coordinated community response to ensure a smooth transition for our service members returning home to Orange County.

OC Veteran Advisory Council

The body was created in March 1978 and is comprised of members appointed by the O.C. Board of Supervisors. They volunteer their time and services without pay. The Council is made up of nine members who are residents of Orange County representing all areas of the county and all are U.S. Military veterans with Honorable Discharges.

The function and duties of this Council are: to advise the Board of Supervisors on issues of importance to veterans and their dependents based on input from the veteran community; to provide a source of liaison and communication with various groups relative to veterans issues; and, to promote involvement in veteran's related events and functions within the County.

Public meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month at 6:00 P.M. Currently, meetings are held at the Veterans Service Office, Conference Room A/B, 1300 S. Grand Avenue, Building B, Santa Ana, California.
