State of California Moves County of Orange to More Restrictive Purple Tier Effective Immediately

Effective immediately under order of Governor Newsom and the California Department of Public Health (CDPH), the County of Orange was moved into the Purple Tier, the state's most restrictive tier. Impacted industries and activities in Orange County will have 24 hours in which to comply with this action and make necessary modifications.

Orange County Human Relations Commission Inspires Students To Combat Unintended COVID-19 Symptoms

Santa Ana, Calif. (October 20, 2020) – As COVID-related discrimination and xenophobia reach an all-time high, Orange County Human Relations Commission (OCHRC) has responded by launching an exciting anti-hate initiative. The “To Know Better” multimedia campaign contest is designed to promote cultural acceptance through the voices of Orange County middle and high schoolers.

County of Orange Celebrates 100,000th Customer at County Service Center

Today the County Service Center (CSC) proudly served its 100,000th customer since opening its doors on September 3, 2019. To commemorate this milestone, Chairwoman Michelle Steel and Vice Chairman Andrew Do presented the 100,000th customer with a basket containing promotional items from the CSC departments.
