Following the order of the  California Governor Gavin Newsom and the State Public Health ordered all individuals to stay home except to get food, care for a relative or friend, get necessary health care, or go to an essential job.  The order also dictated individuals employ social distancing practices by maintaining 6 feet of distance from.

 

The Sheriff’s Department Civil Operations office will be temporarily closed effective March 17, 2020 to June 5, 2020. This is part of the  Department’s ongoing preventative efforts to decrease potential COVID-19 exposure to our staff and the community. (Duration is subject to change)

Harbor Justice Center is located on the border of Newport Beach and Irvine in what is referred to as the “Airport Center”.  It is one

mile west of John Wayne Airport, one mile south of the San Diego Freeway, two miles east of University of California, Irvine and

five miles north of the Pacific Ocean.  The facility is surrounded by low-rise office buildings to the immediate north, west,

and south, which gradually transition to high-rise buildings within a few blocks of the Court.
