Following the order of the  California Governor Gavin Newsom and the State Public Health ordered all individuals to stay home except to get food, care for a relative or friend, get necessary health care, or go to an essential job.  The order also dictated individuals employ social distancing practices by maintaining 6 feet of distance from.


The Sheriff’s Department Civil Operations office will be temporarily closed effective March 17, 2020 to May 25, 2020. This is part of the  Department’s ongoing preventative efforts to decrease potential COVID-19 exposure to our staff and the community. (Duration is subject to change)

The Superior Court Service Center (SCSC) is located at 27673 Puerta Real, Mission Viejo, CA 92691, in a commercial shopping center which can be accessed from the Crown Valley exit off the 5 Freeway.


The SCSC provides public access to court services to the over 600,000 residents living in south Orange County.  The SCSC is a location where court users can obtain self-help services.  Self-help services include providing legal information and procedural assistance, offering workshops, providing document review of Judicial Council forms and Orange County approved local forms, public computer use and legal library use.
