Following the order of the  California Governor Gavin Newsom and the State Public Health ordered all individuals to stay home except to get food, care for a relative or friend, get necessary health care, or go to an essential job.  The order also dictated individuals employ social distancing practices by maintaining 6 feet of distance from.


The Sheriff’s Department Civil Operations office will be temporarily closed effective March 17, 2020 to May 25, 2020. This is part of the  Department’s ongoing preventative efforts to decrease potential COVID-19 exposure to our staff and the community. (Duration is subject to change)

West Justice Center is located in the City of Westminster, Civic Center. The Civic Center creates a focal point for the City of Westminster that provides services for residents of the community. The Civic Center includes City Hall, Westminster Police Department, Senior Center, Westminster Rose Center, Coastline Community College, Sid Goldstein Freedom Park and the Orange County Library. The facility is located adjacent to some residential property and lies within a mixed use area.

 There are 17 courtrooms; Traffic, Criminal, Civil and Small Claims.
