County of Orange Launches Paid Internship Program
The County of Orange has implemented a Paid Internship Program for college students and recent graduates. Students and recent graduates interested in learning more about the program can click here. OC Social Services Agency Volunteers Make a Difference!
The OC Social Services Agency (SSA) recognized the efforts of 3,900 community volunteers in its FY 2017/18 Annual Report. The volunteers contributed more than 28,000 hours of service, supporting SSA at an in-kind value of nearly $800,000! Click here to read the full report.
The MRC is a national network of local volunteers who focus on strengthening the health of their communities by donating their time and expertise to prepare for and respond to emergencies and promote healthy living throughout the year.
Internships are a great way for students and recent graduates to build their resumes, explore career options and apply their academic knowledge and skills to the workforce.
The Excellence in Volunteerism Award recognizes County of Orange volunteers who generously apply their time, talents and expertise in meeting community needs and challenges. Pat Consentino was recently selected to receive the award for her volunteer contributions to OC Community Resources, OC Public Libraries.
